Sogni’s public Testnet started on October 1, 2024. Here we are almost 9 months and 100,000,000 images later, 2 weeks away from our due date. The doctors have confirmed our collective baby is healthy and still on schedule for Mainnet delivery on July 1, 2025!

Our whitepaper is a great general resource but let’s get into the nitty-gritty specifically for existing Testnet artists and workers.

What Stays the Same
Your account
After Mainnet launch you’ll log in like normal to the same apps and URLs. Behind the scenes this migrates your account and all its settings from Testnet to Mainnet automatically. Have an airdrop coming? The migration process that happens here will guide you through the claiming process.
The experience you know.
Sogni Studio, Pocket, Web, Fast and Relaxed Workers, Photobooth, and all other Super Apps will continue working just as they do today. You’ll still be able to create images, browse models, enter contests, and run your worker. (There will be a migration process for Fast Worker nodes)
It’s still free to use.
Daily Boosts, referral rewards, quests, and contests will continue to give you free ways to create and participate.
No subscriptions.
Sogni remains pay-as-you-go. You only spend when you choose to, no locked tiers or monthly commitments.
What’s Changing at Mainnet
Mainnet wallets become active.
The “t” in tSOGNI stands for “testnet” and the test tokens you’ve been accumulating and using will stay behind on the Base Sepolia test blockchain, so spend them if you got em! Around July 1, 2025 as the protocol switches to use the main Base blockchain network those test tokens will no longer load into the app. Your wallet address itself will remain the same but your balances will point to your mainnet SOGNI Tokens and Spark Points.
SOGNI becomes active.
Once the TGE (Token Generation Event) occurs, SOGNI will become fully usable within the network. It will be transferable on Base and Etherlink and power all core activity across the ecosystem. It will be purchasable on select exchanges and Dexs including https://aerodrome.finance/.
Note that the cost of inference on the Supernet will remain unchanged at a fixed cost of $0.005 or half-a-penny USD per standard HQ render (relative to GPU-time for one 20 step SDXL job as baseline). The price of jobs in SOGNI in Mainnet may fluctuate as the current live market price of the token is factored against this GPU-time exchange rate.
Dual-token system becomes active.
Spark points are simple render credits introduced as an alternative settlement option on the Supernet to SOGNI tokens. Each Spark point represents one free or prepaid render job, specifically the cost-in-GPU-time to do one standard HQ render (20 step SDXL).
The price of the SOGNI token will fluctuate on Mainnet, as it reflects the average market price across exchanges. This means the amount of SOGNI tokens required to pay for the same Supernet job can vary over time for an Artist. Spark Points are introduced to avoid this exposure to price fluctuations. One Spark Point is always pegged to the cost of a base render job—and that never changes.
Benefits of using Spark Points:
– Allows Sogni to give a fixed number of free daily render and other credits to users without the amount of jobs those credits support fluctuating
– Allows users to conveniently buy credits in this fixed credit model in user friendly in-app purchase methods
– Securing the economy: Unlike with SOGNI, Spark can’t be transferred or sold once earned, only used to pay for Supernet generations by the account awarded them. This means Sogni can give more generous rewards, airdrops, and Developer & Creator Grants knowing these tokens must be used on the network and can’t be farmed for the open market.
Accounts will always be able to pay for Supernet jobs in either Spark Points or SOGNI but all in-app rewards like Daily Boost will give Spark Points instead of SOGNI going forward. Native Appstore apps have already been using Spark for rewards but regular Testnet users will start seeing Daily Boost switch to Spark on Testnet this week. –
Benefits of using SOGNI Tokens:
– SOGNI tokens will continue to be the main utility token on the protocol, used for many purposes beyond Supernet inference payments to workers, including future DAO voting
– SOGNI will be required to stake for worker reward boosts and participating in the staking leaderboard
– On Mainnet paying for jobs with SOGNI gives a 10x multiplier to leaderboard points. Paid Spark Points gives a 7x multiplier, and free Spark gives a 1x multiplier.
Leaderboards
Mainnet leaderboards will be on a regular cycle. To celebrate our Mainnet launch we will be increasing leaderboard rewards tentatively by 300%. This means users that receive a Testnet airdrop may want to stake against the Mainnet leaderboard for a significant multiplier to their airdrop. All leaderboards: Artist, Fast Worker, Relaxed Worker, Referral, and Staking will continue on Mainnet. The mainnet staking leaderboard will be tied to a robust new staking pool with multiple perks built into it along with the dedicated leaderboard.

– Yes, 60 million token rewards from Testnet Phase 3.0 and Testnet Phase 4.0 will be airdropped shortly after Mainnet.
– Yes the top 10,000 ranks per leaderboard and Testnet Phase 4.0 and the top 1,250 on each from Testnet Phase 3.0 will receive Sogni token rewards.
– No, there are no plans for vesting requirements on airdrop rewards. Instead, a strong staking incentive model will be introduced, starting with the first Mainnet leaderboard, which will feature significantly higher rewards as a special launch event to promote early staking participation.
– NFT rewards including Testnet Warrior Badges for the top 250 Artists, Relaxed Workers, and Fast Workers will be awarded in the same claiming workflow as leaderboard airdrops (or delivered earlier). Mainnet Fast Worker NFTs will automatically be awarded to reliable Testnet Fast Workers workers.

- Use them or lose them. Use up your remaining testnet tokens in the next two weeks. See where you are in each Testnet leaderboard using the username search box and see if you can muster a few more ranks for maximum airdrops!
- Update your apps. Make sure you’re using the latest versions of Sogni Studio, Sogni Studio Pro, Pocket, or Web.
- Prepare for Mainnet leaderboards and staking. The Staking will unlock your best experience — faster queues, better rewards, and deeper access.
- Keep creating. Your contributions will now connect directly to real, on-chain rewards.
